LaVar Ball pulls Lonzo Ball's brother LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

How the situation at U.C.L.A. will affect Lonzo Ball, a rookie guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, is unknown, but as recently as last night he had been telling reporters that the drama around him was beginning to die down.

The slight prompted at least seven tweets from Trump over eight days in which he called the elder Ball an "ungrateful fool" and bragged that "IT WAS ME" who got the players released, sparing them from potentially up to 10 years in a Chinese prison. The charges were eventually dropped, but not before the global incident made headlines when President Donald Trump tweeted that he helped free the players, which the elder Ball disputed. "Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man's version of Don King, but without the hair".

However, a source at UCLA told ESPN's Arash Markazi that this is probably the end for the Ball family at the school. "And if they did it, genuinely, do you really need to come up to me and say, 'Boy, you better thank me?'" LaVar Ball said.

"And didn't get a thank you, but I ain't gonna stress it out", Ball said. "ZO2s bring you down, stop you from getting all riled up", he said. "Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out". "Put some ZO2s on and walk light".

In a surprising move, LaVar Ball has removed his son LiAngelo Ball from UCLA, according to an initial report from TMZ Sports.

LiAngelo, a college freshman, told "Today" that being jailed in China was "horrible".

LaVar Ball said that he has yet to inform the UCLA coaching staff that he is pulling LiAngelo.

"That's the whole season, pretty much", LiAngelo said of the suspension. And then you just sit in a cement cell for however long. He'd be unable to enroll and play immediately for any NCAA Division I program, although there would have been at least the possibility he could catch on at a lower-level program, like an NAIA school. This time, father LaVar was joined by LiAngelo as he explained the situation that went on in China and how the shoplifting incident happened.
