Death threat received to the Sultan of Bollywood 'Salman Khan' by Gangster

Salim Khan confirms death threats to Salman Khan by Rajasthan gangster

While talking to reporters when he was brought to Jodhpur court, Lawrence had issued a threat to kill Salman Khan.

Earlier, Lawrence Bishnoi, one of the most notorious gangsters of Rajasthan, who was produced in the Jodhpur Court a day after Salman Khan, had issued the death threat to the actor as he belongs to the Bishnoi community, who worship the blackbuck, an endangered animal which the superstar is accused of killing. The policemen stopped the shooting immediately and escorted Salman to his house amidst tight security.

Days back, Rajasthan gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to kill Salman in Jodhpur, where he had gone for the hearing of the blackbuck poaching case.

The Mumbai Police have denied that armed men disrupted actor Salman Khan's shoot on Wednesday, and that he had to be escorted to safety, the Hindustan Times reported on Thursday.

The cops have also informed Salman that following Bishnoi's threat, three others have also threatened to kill him, while they also have plans to vandalise areas around his film sets. Post the police barging in the sets of Race 3, Salman was escorted in another auto by six cops, while another group of cops drove back his own vehicle to his residence.

After the incident, Salman Khan has been given extra security and has been forbidden to ride his cycle on the roads. "We are also investigating the motive behind Bishnoi's threat to Salman", he further added.

The cops arrived at the sets of Race 3 and alerted the actor and producer to halt the shooting. "The police are taking Bishnoi's threat seriously but we have assured Salman that he will receive maximum police protection". The security on the sets of Race 3 has also been increased a lot. When Mumbai Mirror reached out to Ramesh Taurani, he said: "There are additional bouncers, guards and personnel to safeguard Salman and the unit at all times". Actor has been asked to discontinue his cycling schedule and also to not inform fans of his location on social media.
