James Franco accused of Sexually Inappropriate Behavior

Violet Paley is one of the women who have accused actor James Franco of inappropriate behavior

Franco was booked on the show to discuss The Disaster Artist, a film he stars in and directed, and for which he won the Golden Globe for best actor in a musical or comedy, but the recent wave of accusations against him made the topic of his alleged misconduct unavoidable.

"James Franco just won".

Golden Globe victor James Franco says accusations of sexual misconduct made against him on Twitter this week are "not accurate" but said in a TV interview that "if I've done something wrong, I will fix it".

Presenter of the award and Vice Principals star Walton Goggins accepted the award on the 39-year-old's behalf. Franco was wearing a "Times Up" pin at the awards show, which calls attention to gender inequality and sexual harassment across different industries.

Paley claimed after beginning a romantic relationship with the Golden Globe victor, he pressured her into performing oral sex on him while they were sitting in a vehicle. The 26-year-old said, "I got it in my head pretty quickly that, 'Okay, you don't say no to this guy.' I feel there was an abuse of power, and there was a culture of exploiting non-celebrity women, and a culture of women being replaceable".

Other than Tither Kaplan, there are four more who are accusing Franco of sexual misconduct.

She told the outlet she saw Franco as a mentor when they began a romantic relationship in 2016.

"So I don't want to, you know, shut them down in any way".

She then added: "Why is a man hosting?" The actor, who now stars on the drama series The Deuce (he also produces it and occasionally directs it), has recently been accused of inappropriate or sexually exploitative behavior by five women. She alleges that, during the shoot, Franco removed plastic guards from the women's genitals and then simulated sex acts.

Although HBO released a statement on Wednesday saying that no complaints about Franco have come in on "The Deuce" production, sources told Variety that network executives are closely watching the response of the public to the allegations made against the Golden Globe victor.

Paley and Tither-Kaplan spoke out against Franco on Twitter Sunday during the Golden Globes. Tither-Kaplan said she was cast in an unreleased film, The Long Home, as a prostitute, and was asked, along with other women, if she would appear in a "bonus scene" depicting an orgy, where Franco would simulate oral sex on the women. She says the video was uploaded to Vimeo by the school and has since appeared on porn sites.

Actor, James Franco is under fire today. The two women say what happened next was a "hostile and unprofessional" video shoot at an LA strip club.

Midway through filming, Dusome said Franco approached the actresses - who wore masks and lingerie - and asked, "So, who wants to take your shirt off?".

What do you think about the latest allegations against James Franco?

On Wednesday the actor denied engaging in sexual misconduct after several accusations surfaced on social media, while voicing his support for the many women coming forward with allegations of wrongdoing. Franco's lawyer has denied the allegations against the actor.

In response, Franco's business partner Vince Jolivette told Us Weekly, "As an owner of Rabbit Bandini Productions, the company that ran Studio 4, the school was always run professionally".
