Meizu-M6S-specs and features

The phone is said to be the Meizu M6s which is an improved variant of the Meizu M6 which was introduced in September. The Meizu M6S price starts at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 9,900 ) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model and goes up to CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 11,900) for the 3GB RAM/ 64GB storage model.

Samsung is the developer and manufacturer of the Exynos 7872 SoC under the hood of the Meizu M6s as well, and this is actually the world's first commercial device powered by the hexa-core Cortex A73 + A53 CPU and Mali-G71 GPU. The smartphone comes in three colours- Champagne Gold, Matte Black, Moonlight Silver and Cobalt Blue and it will be made available from January 19 onwards. Meizu has put in some serious effort to make this new device its best ever yet. That's both shorter and narrower than the 5.5-inch M6 Note, although the M6s settles for HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display resolution in order to keep retail costs low. There will be 3GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of storage options. The display has rounded corners and is covered by a 2.5D curved glass for added protection. Running Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme OS on top, the smartphone will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The phone features a dedicated pressure sensor chip and linear vibration motor (in the circle), allowing you to control your phone with simple gestures.

As for the camera, the Meizu M6S will feature a Samsung 16MP CMOS sensor at the back with f/2.0 aperture, 112μm pixel area, PDAF, 5P lens, and a special HDR that's developed by ArcSoft for the M6S. Connectivity options on the Meizu M6s include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2. The smartphone measures 152 x 72.5 x 8.0 mm and weighs 160 grams.
