Netanyahu said looking for ways to forcibly deport illegal migrants

Israel has made a decision to force African migrants out of the country or put them in jail.

The Interior Ministry's Population and Migration Authority is to give Eritrean and Sudanese citizens who entered the country illegally the choice of leaving Israel within three months, or face being imprisoned indefinitely.

The Israeli press recently reported that Israel plans to start forcibly deporting migrants and paying Rwanda $5,000 per person to take them in. In public remarks to his cabinet about the repatriation plan, Netanyahu said the government is "keeping our promise to restore calm, a sense of personal security and law and order" to residents in south Tel Aviv, where numerous African migrants live.

Israel's government said the relocation will be humane and voluntary and migrants will have the choice to return to their home country or a third country.

On another note, the jewish state exempts elderly people, children and people who suffered slavery and trafficking from this ultimatum. Majority came from war-torn Sudan, Somalia and Eritrea, and several thousand have applied for asylum, claiming their lives would be in danger if they were forced to return.

"Every country must guard its borders", said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the opening of a special cabinet meeting to address the matter on Wednesday.

Infiltrator is a term the Israeli government uses to describe people who entered the country illegally.

"We have expelled about 20,000 and now the mission is to get the rest out", Mr. Netanyahu said. They also can choose whether to return to their home country or a third country.

African illegal migrants carry their belongings following their release from the Holot Detention Centre in Israel's Negev desert, on August 25, 2015.

"It has published a denial, although I have to say that Uganda has for years been denying that it has some kind of deal with Israel", he said. "The expulsion to Rwanda endangers the very lives of these refugees", the organizations said. Amnesty global Israel and the Association for Civil Rights are disheartened by the policy and they stated that "Anyone who has a heart must oppose the expulsion of the refugees". "We don't know what is waiting for us (in Rwanda and Uganda)", he told Reuters by telephone.

Some migrants lived for years in Israel and work in low-paying jobs that many Israelis shun. A major effort is now underway to remove most - "a significant number" - of those who remain, and who are still "illegal infiltrators in Israel".
