A former Alabama star linebacker was arrested in Tuscaloosa on Friday.

Former Alabama All-American and Butkus Award victor and current San Francisco 49er Reuben Foster was arrested in Tuscaloosa on Friday.

It's only the latest blemish on Foster's record, and another reason for the Niners to question his maturity. He was drafted with the 31st pick of the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Under Alabama state criminal law, second degree possession is a Class A misdemeanor, which suggests the legal aspect of this arrest will blow over soon.

Foster started all 10 games he played in this season and posted 72 tackles, including 64 during the 49ers' final eight games.

Last March, Foster was dismissed from the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine after an altercation with medical staff.

The Niners have yet to comment on Foster's arrest, at the time of this article's posting.

Let's hope it's not much.
