Tell us, HollywoodLifers - What do YOU think about Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder having a crossover event?

Shonda Rhimes series "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder" are going to have a crossover, ABC announced Wednesday. This spot look familiar?! Davis answered with her own photo of Annalise Keating on the set of Scandal.

Though an official airdate has not yet been released, according to reports, the crossover event will air sometime in the spring.

However, The Hollywood Reporter notes that How To Get Away With Murder creator, Pete Nowalk, was initially opposed to the idea of a crossover to Scandal.

Almost simultaneously, Viola Davis, who plays powerhouse lawyer Annalise Keating on "How to Get Away" posted a photo to her own Instagram page featuring her character in the Oval Office.

"People. It's happening", Rhimes captioned her post, along with the hashtags "TGITCrossover" and "How to Get Away With Scandal". The medical drama is now on its 14 season, and it seems that the Ellen Pompeo-starrer will not have a chance to team up with Washington and the rest of the "Scandal" cast.

Scandal and HTGAWM have dominated the ABC network, along with Rhimes other popular series Grey's Anatomy, as the most-watched shows. "Where are you?" Washington wrote, alongside a picture of her dressed as Olivia and sitting on a bench outside of a courtroom that appears in "Murder".

This will be the first time the two actresses guest star on each other's shows.

As with all Shondaland shows, little is known about what will bring Olivia and Annalise together.

Both shows return from a two-month hiatus on January 18.
