Coming to the cameras, a 13 MP rear camera with single LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for selfie needs.

This is the third smartphone from the company.

After launching srt.phone past year in May, technology firm Smartron unveiled a new smartphone called t.phone P in the Indian market. The t.phone P comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat, which helps you to work with all the latest features such as split-screen multitasking, improved notifications, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze. The company has launched Smartron t.phone P at a price of Rs. 7,999 (approximately $126).

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers VoLTE and ViLTE support. The top has a 3.5 mm headphones port, the bottom has a micro USB port.

The smartphone has 13-megapixel rear camera along with the LED flashlight.


We tested both the cameras for a brief period and found that the shots showed good detailing on the 5.2-inch screen, however, we will give the exact picture in a couple of weeks. As mentioned, the phone packs a massive 5,000mAh battery and Smartron says that the phone can charge up to 50% in about 90 minutes and up to 100% in about 180 minutes.

We will evaluate such claims while reviewing the handset.

The powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa Core Chipset processor coupled with 3GB RAM enables the smartphone to offer an unmatched performance giving users a flawless experience on the Android N. The smartphone comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB (further expandable to 128GB) and with the tronX integration users can additionally get a 1000 GB of free tcloud storage so that they never have to delete anything from the device. Other t.phone P specifications include 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and rear fingerprint sensor.

Smartron has launched the t.phone P in India as its newest model under the t.phone range.
