Coutinho would welcome Neymar back to Barcelona: Arthur...?

Neymar Paris Saint Germain Ligue 1

The goal-scoring star has been brilliant in his lone season in France, tallying 28 goals in all competitions, however, his side's recent UEFA Champions League struggle against Real Madrid has the Brazilian teetering on the brink of a move away from the Parc des Princes. Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo claims the Brazilian, recovering from surgery on a broken foot in Brazil, has made contact with Barca to ask how he can engineer a return.

Real Madrid have been most heavily linked but some have touted a return to Barcelona, including midfielder Ivan Rakitic and Neymar's Brazil teammate Coutinho. Do YOU really think he could leave the club in the summer?

Philippe Coutinho has said that he would have no problem in welcoming Neymar back to Barcelona. "I would love to have him in my team, I would always have Neymar in my XI". OK, that was the case at Barca, but Neymar was hardly playing in his shadow.

"With Neymar, that's life, but I have the same feelings as Rakitic", Coutinho said, as quoted by Marca. In 10 years they might spend 400 million euros.

Florentino Perez Real Madrid
GETTYReal Madrid president Florentino Perez is a long-term admirer of Paris Saint Germain star Neymar

"It seemed insane to me and 10 years later they are paying 220 million".

But the player's exorbitant valuation makes it hard to believe rejoining Barca is on the cards, while links with Real grow and talk of meetings between the relevant parties intensify. The club is in fact quite loaded with resources, but such a fee would likely lead to depth issues and Real Madrid probably isn't interested in losing ground to Barcelona or other La Liga clubs.

Due to the fears they have over Neymar's future, the Ligue 1 leaders are flying two key officials out to Brazil this week so that talks can be held with the 26-year-old superstar. Winning Champions Leagues, big league tiles.
