Here's the first look of Sonam - Dulquer's 'Zoya Factor'!

Sonam Kapoor announced the release date on social media along with the first look of the film.

Anuja Chauhan, who is the author of famous novels like "Those Pricey Thakur Girls" and "Battle for Bittora", will be writing the dialogues for the movie.

The film directed by Abhishek Sharma will be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Adlabs Films. The screenplay has been penned by Neha Rakesh Sharma, and the dialogues are written by Pradhuman Singh.

The Zoya Factor is slated to release on April 5, 2019.

The actors have been paired for the first time in the screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's best-selling novel, The Zoya Factor, which rolls in August. The film is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. The Tere Bin Laden fame director admits that he wasn't aware of Dulquer's work until he was made to see the trailer of the Mani Ratnam blockbuster, which clinched the deal.

Dulquer Salmaan also posted about the film.

Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Ronnie Screwala's "Karwaan", which also stars Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. This is what Sonam Kapoor tweeted on Tuesday: "Super happy to be a part of this unique story". Kerala's hit churning machine did a photo shoot with leading lady Sonam Kapoor to confirm the news. The only one who is sceptical is the newly appointed skipper, Nikhil. In the movie, Dulquer will play the Captain of the cricket team. While Dulquer's character hails from North originally, the film will portray him as a South Indian guy with remarkable Hindi speaking skills.

Actress Sonam Kapoor-starrer The Zoya Factor is scheduled to release on April 5 next year.

Anuja Chauhan's The Zoya Factor traces the story of a PR executive, Zoya Solanki, who was born at the moment when India lifted the 1983 World Cup.
