Retail Listing Suggests New Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell For 2018 Release

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell PS4 Play Station 4

That said, this did not stop the internet from capturing the screenshot which might be an indication that Ubisoft could be thinking of releasing a new game in the stealth franchise. The action-stealth game garnered quite the following, and managed to spawn a series of sequels.

But that is about to change because a Reddit user has spotted a new Splinter Cell game listed on Amazon Canada's official website.

Notice: The following information should be taken with a grain of salt due to no actual confirmation being made by Ubisoft.

The title will follow 2013's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which received decent reviews from fans and media alike.

Fans of the Splinter Cell franchise have been waiting for another entry in the series following the launch of Splinter Cell Blacklist and it seems that we might be getting a new Splinter Cell game this year if the Amazon's listing for Splinter Cell 2018 is to be believed.

Besides there have been previous reports that Ubisoft has a Splinter Cell game in the works. It's just that we have a lot on our plate at the moment and The Division continues to be played and Rainbow Six too.

I'd personally like to see the series come back as the past games have all been great. "We are not forgetting Splinter Cell". Hopefully Sam Fisher is still the main character and Ubisoft is able to bring back Michael Ironside as the voice actor. We can expect a new Splinter game to release this year as Ubisoft does not have any big releases lined up this year and it has been a year since the last big release, Assassin's Creed: Origins took place in October 2017. And do you think that Ubisoft will reveal it at this year's E3?
