Google says new app is lighter on data

Alongside the "self-destructing" feature Google will also allow the users to establish two-factor authentications by adding a passcode which will be generated by Google for private messages.

- When there's no internet access‚ Google Go retries failed search requests in the background and lets you know as soon as the results are ready.

Taking note of the user sentiments, Google has finally made a decision to declutter it's designed and launch new, much cleaner, clearer design in a coming week. Once turned on for a specific message, the user won't be able to copy, download, forward, or even print it.

Beyond that, judging by screenshots sent to TechCrunch, Gmail users will be able to choose when the email expires and disappears into the ether. The upcoming changes in Gmail for Web have reportedly got revealed in an email sent by Google to administrators of G Suite accounts. The company is rumored to be including three layouts, a sidebar to view your calendar or notes, smart replies with prewritten responses and a snooze button to mute email threads until you're written to answer them.

'We're working on some major updates to Gmail (they're still in draft phase)', a Google spokesperson told MailOnline. Google has meanwhile kept mum about the new features, requesting for a bit more time to compose themselves before they share anything. Earlier this year Google disclosed cloud revenue figures for the first time, saying that the company is making $1 billion in revenue a quarter from the combined G Suite and Google Cloud Platform businesses.

Earlier this week we delivered word of Google's forthcoming revamp of its Gmail web client, likely to officially debut at the I/O conference next month.

"Google Go offers an easy way for users to specify an additional language for search and switch easily between English and Kiswahili", said Mr Murito. However, there is one big concern surrounding the new feature which is - although Google does not allow printing, copying, or pasting of the email content there are no measures whatsoever to prevent the receiver from screenshotting the email.
