New Billie Joe Armstrong Band, The Longshot, Drops 3-Song EP

Green Day front-man Billie Joe Armstrong has been stumping fans for the last couple of weeks by posting an overkill of freakish posts via Instagram, only giving away the name of a new side project in the works labeled The Longshot making viewers scratch their heads in even more confusion. According to the description on their private account, "New album "Love is for Losers" coming eventually sooner or later". What we do have are three new songs titled "Taxi Driver", "Love Is For Losers", and "Chasing A Ghost". They kinda sound like the faster songs Green Day wrote in the Nimrod era.

It's not now known who the other members of the band are, with rumours involving one or both of his sons, Jeff Matika, and Green Day's Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool.

The 46-year-old rocker has a long history of forming side projects, he's also a member of Pinhead Gunpowder, Foxboro Hot Tubs and The Network. "Probably sooner." But then again, when have we heard that before?

Meanwhile, Green Day dropped their last album "Revolution Radio" in 2016, featuring the lead single "Bang Bang".

They are even asking fans to stir up rumors about the band.

After ascertaining that the unmarked box was legit and didn't contain any dismembered body parts, "Love Is For Losers" got to have its world debut.
