Russia will retaliate to the UK for Syria on compromising Ministers

United States' Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said Sunday the Trump administration will announce more sanctions against Russian Federation as soon as Monday.

Russia's U.S. Embassy released a statement late Friday evening suggesting, once again, that last week's chemical weapon attack was staged as a part of an global anti-Russian conspiracy.

The Western countries blame Assad for the Douma attack that killed dozens of people. And it has been now involved in the Syrian conflict for a couple of years.

Although officials said the singular target was Assad's chemical weapons capability, his air force, including helicopters he allegedly has used to drop chemical weapons on civilians, were spared.

US President Donald Trump makes a statement about Syria at the White House in Washington, US, April 13. He said, once again, this is a case where the US has destabilized the Middle East, very much in line with Iraq and that, you know, these charges against Assad using chemical weapons were merely a pretext to attack.

Chemical weapons analysis and storage vegetation have been flattened in Homs and Damascus.

The White House pushed back against Macron's comments about Trump's intentions for USA forces.

"Neither us nor European neighbours need it", he said. He said European Union foreign ministers will meet Monday to discuss the situation and put forward proposals for steps going forward. "In addition we expect our regional allies and partners to take greater responsibility both militarily and financially for securing the region".

According to the lawmaker, Russian Federation is ready for a new round of sanctions, although there is nothing good in this situation. So in that sense, they're still opening - they're holding out their hands saying that they're willing to cooperate with Russian Federation if Russia will do the right thing here.

A global chemical warfare watchdog group, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, said its fact-finding mission would go as planned in Douma.

The inspectors were due to attempt to visit the Douma site.

How has Russian Federation responded to the in a single day strikes on Syria?

As the diplomatic fallout of Saturday's airstrikes continued, the United Kingdom on Monday accused Russian Federation and Syria of blocking experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from accessing Douma, the site of the suspected gas attack.

Russian and Iranian military help over the past three years has allowed Assad to crush the rebel threat to topple him.

Haley said the three US goals for accomplishing its mission are making sure chemical weapons are not used in a way that could harm USA national interests, defeating the Islamic State group and having a good vantage point to watch what Iran is doing.

Though military strikes on Russia-backed Syria were the larger effect, others will follow, she said.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the United States military had kept its strikes limited because it knew a wider attack would spark retaliation from Damascus and its allies and inflame the region.

Russia's demand for condemnation and an immediate halt to "aggression" and "any further use of force" by the three Western allies got support from only two other countries on the 15-member Security Council - China and Bolivia. That had led to feverish speculation on Russian television, and from some Russian politicians, that a US strike on Syria could quickly devolve into a nuclear standoff as unsafe as the Cuban missile crisis.

Russian President Vladimir Putin looks on attending the military parade during the Navy Day celebration in St.Petersburg, Russia, on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

"Russia condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack against Syria, where Russian military personnel are assisting the legitimate government in its counterterrorism efforts", Putin said in English language statement posted Saturday on the Kremlin's website.
