CBS Responds to Pauley Perrette's Assault Allegations: "We Took the Matter Seriously"

Pauley Perrette alludes to physical assaults

CBS Studios responded to a series of tweets from former NCIS star Pauley Perrette that hinted at the reason why she left the show.

"I refuse to really go non, this's why I't never ever told openly what transpired", she opened her first tweet. In the event you imagine them?

"I left. Multiple physical assaults. And then I take a deep breath, and I go, 'All right, ' you know?"

"Possibly I'm fallacious for not "spilling the beans" Telling the story, THE TRUTH". But at what cost? I.don't know. Simply know, I'm attempting to do the precise factor, however possibly silence isn't the precise factor about crime. I'm...

Perrette claimed there was a "very powerful publicity machine" that was spreading false stories, and said "he did it" without elaborating on who "he" is.

Alluding to issues with her co-star, Mark Harmon, she noted that she has been trying to remain calm. "I don't know", she continued. If it's school or work, that you're required to go to? It's awful. I left.

She also encouraged victims to "stay safe", and stressed that "nothing is worth your safety". One of her NCIS-related tweets included the words "he did it" but didn't say who "he" was.

A few hours later, she followed up with another tweet, wondering aloud whether she was doing the right thing by keeping quiet. The actress stated in October 2017 that she had decided a year before that after sixteen years on the hit show it was time for her to leave and do something different.

"It makes me sad to imagine a world without Abby in it", she said.

Actress Pauley Perrette's ex-husband has accused her of sending him death threats. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution.

Pauley and NCIS co-star Mark Harmon have a long-standing feud.

Perrette's final episode of NCIS aired May 8 and drew a season-high 14.8 million viewers.

"I hope that the followers will bear in mind all the pieces that Abby has taught all of us over the course of this whole run", stated Perrette. "(NO I DON'T HAVE A SKIN CARE LINE AND NO MY NETWORK AND SHOW ARE NOT MAD AT ME!) It was a decision made a year ago".
