A Walt Disney World parade was more fiery than planned Friday afternoon.

Millions from across the globe have witnessed the Magic Kingdom's Festival of Fantasy parade at Disney World in Orlando.

Several pictures and videos taken by visitors show some employees trying to control the flame with fire extinguishers while some others secured the area around the animatronic dragon, which had stopped rolling.

It happened during the Magic Kingdom's daily Festival of Fantasy parade. The parade went past us and the mechanical Dragon was all good until it burst into flames!

Sapp said the staff did a great job keeping everyone safe and, to his knowledge, no one was injured.

The Orlando Sentinel indicated a local fire department was called to the scene, though the blaze was already extinguished by the time responders arrived.

The dragon float periodically rears its head and blows fire and smoke.

No one was hurt and workers put out the flames quickly, according to Fox 13.

Disney officials say they are still trying to figure out what went wrong.
