Lenovo Z5 Could be Lenovo's True Bezel-Less Phone

Mi MIX 2

A new teaser posted on Weibo gives us a peek into the design of the phone. What was missing was the name of the mobile and now the organization has affirmed that it will be called as Lenovo Z5. Then, the antenna bands are present on the left side presumably suggesting a metallic chassis.

Cheng refers to a "new national flagship declaration", and links to a second Weibo post - including the render at the bottom of the page - that also references design challenges and breakthroughs. This was accomplished by decreasing the space devoured by the radio wire groups, camera, and size of bezels. The first picture we saw was of a phone with no bezels around. So, although Lenovo is not talking about the hardware of the phone, it could be powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which nearly all high-end Android phones use. It is also liable to accompany no less than 6GB RAM, 64GB internal capacity, double camera setup and highlights like a unique fingerprint scanner. This is the largest screen space ever seen on a device since it will not feature top and bottom bezels. The Z5 will be launched to take on the likes of Xiaomi's Mi Mix 2S, Mi Mix and other phones with a comprehensive display. However, it's unknown where the selfie camera and the proximity sensor will reside on the Z5.

There are speculations that company could launch the phone on June 14. This phone could end the notch culture. What's more interesting is to see that there aren't any cutouts for the earpiece and front camera. Perhaps, Lenovo is implementing in Z5 technology concept smartphone Vivo APEX: retractable frontalka, fingerprint sensor at the screen technology Screen SoundCasting that turns the display into a speaker.

Now that Cheng has confirmed the Lenovo Z5 moniker, it appears that the company doesn't have plans to market ZUK branded telephones again. The company tried selling ZUK phones in China recently but it did not receive a good response from the masses.
