Riz Ahmed Wants to Write 'Ms. Marvel' With Mindy Kaling

Miss Marvel: Muslim superhero film 'in the works', Marvel says

Ms. Marvel was created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona.

Those excited to be a part of Ms. Marvel include Pakistani-British actor Riz Ahmed who recently took to Twitter in an attempt to offer his expertise and write the movie's screenplay.

Obviously Ms. Marvel's introduction to the MCU still lies somewhere in the future, and possibly the somewhat distant future at that. The character devotedly followed the career of Captain Marvel and went by the codename Ms Marvel once she discovered her own ability of changing shape.

The runaway success allows kynoselen Marvel Studio head Kevin Feige to remove nearly anything.

Marvel is now in the midst of shooting Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson and will move onto introducing the teenage-superhero. In the comic books, Ms Marvel's refers to her alter-ego Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey.

"Captain Marvel's shooting right now with Brie Larson", he informed.

Riz Ahmed, Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani. "We have plans for that once we introduce Captain Marvel".

Given their respective backgrounds (Ahmed is British-Pakistani, Kaling has Indian heritage and Nanjiani is Pakistani-American), it's obvious Ahmed wants to have a diverse creative team who can do justice to Kamala's story.

When it was announced by Marvel president, Kevin Fiege in a BBC interview, that a Ms Marvel movie will be made in 2019, fans of the community have been extremely excited.
