The Crew 2 closed beta starts in late May on PC, consoles

The Crew 2 Closed Beta Dates Revealed

Ubisoft has confirmed details on the upcoming closed beta for The Crew 2, revealing players will be able to get a taste of the open-world racer on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One from May 31. The closed beta will be kicking off at the very end of this month (May 31st) and following until June 4th. The open-world and racing were praised on release, but the always online requirements were a source of frustration for players. The game will launch June 29 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Make sure you sign-up for a chance to secure your place. Two of those, Street Race and Rally Raid, feature land vehicles such as sports cars, dune buggies, and motorcycles, while the other two will let you race with the new additions in the sequel, planes and boats. In addition, they can explore the entire United States without restriction, the full line up of vehicles and customizations, sharing features and will even be able to earn and exclusive closed beta reward.

Your progress won't carry over into the final game, but you will get a snazzy, exclusive leather jacket for participating in the preview. They will find challenges and inspiration among four different motorsports families: street racing, off-road, pro racing and freestyle, and will be given a broad set of options among a wide selection of vehicle types.
