Two Blockbuster Matches Announced for WWE Money in the Bank 2018

Ronda Rousey Nia Jax

E! News is reporting that the MMA fighter-turned-WWE superstar has been challenged by Nia Jax to what promises to be an epic Money in the Bank match, and the two confirmed their participation in a very civil joint interview. March 14, 2018) it was announced that Ronda Rousey will be competing at next month's WWE Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) event in Chicago, Illinois. Stephanie and Paul "Triple H" Levesque posed for a photo before the presentation with Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Nia Jax that can be viewed below. Later in the same event, Rousey accepted the invitation, promising to provide stern opposition to the so-called Irresistible Force. News on the red carpet.

Here's where things get tricky: To this point in her WWE career, Rousey has been marketed as a "face", or good guy. "I happily oblige respectfully, so I can sit next to her". Rousey brings an intimidating aura to the ring and using her patented armbar to submit Jax in a championship setting would be convincing.

Nia, however, isn't buying all the Lady of the Manor talk and made clear that while they will be nice to each other outside the ring, "all bets are off" once they get inside the ring. We all have the same goals. News. "She's one of a kind, so there definitely has to be an alternation to my regimen and I'm looking forward to it".

Personally, I'd rather have seen Ronda Rousey have a bigger run of matches as opposed to a title shot immediately, as WWE may book themselves into a corner here of having to have Rousey win or not having a clean finish to the match. It's an exciting prospect, to say the least!
