Was your credit card compromised?

Chili's Grill & Bar, which has more than 1,600 locations, reported a "data incident" of credit card information at some locations between March and April.

Information such as credit or debit card numbers and cardholder names may have been gathered by malware during in-restaurant purchases.

The Brinker incident is somewhat out of the ordinary because companies rarely report card breaches on the same day they discover them, usually waiting weeks and sometimes months to have concrete details before putting out a statement.

- Chili's Grill & Bar (@Chilis) May 12, 2018Brinker International said it is launching a probe to find out more information about the incident. Below is information on how you can protect yourself and your information. Chili's says they are now working to determine which locations and how many customers were affected. It was lucky enough that Chili's doesn't ask for the social security number or date of birth when they sell you a burger to their customers. "We take the security and privacy of your data seriously and are working diligently to address this issue".

On May 11 we learned that some of our Guests' payment card information from certain restaurants was compromised.

Chili's says it is working to provide fraud resolution and credit monitoring services for guests who may have been impacted. This website will be updated when this information becomes available.
