Anushka, Virat served legal notice by man shamed in littering video

Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, have reportedly been served a legal notice by a man the Bollywood actor shamed in a recent social media post for littering in public. Now, according to reports in Zee News, Arhaan has sent a legal notice to the couple for their actions. Anushka was heard asking in the video shot by hubby Virat Kohli sitting in the same auto. "As in all fairness I should await their response", Arhhan said.

"Celebrities don't need to promote themselves when supposedly attempting a good thing".

Mumbai: Last week, Anushka Sharma's video of taking a passerby to task upon catching him littering on the streets went viral on social media.

Virat shared the video and tweeted, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully".

Anushka, who was sitting inside her auto, next to Virat, was seen lashing out at a commuter after she spotted him littering on a street. "Why are you throwing garbage on the road?" If you both really cared or bothered about cleanliness, then you would actively do something about all the garbage in your own lane. you would make a noise and use your VOICE to urge the municipal authorities to take action atleast in the lane where you live, to start with, which you haven't.

Not one to take it sportingly, Arhhan took to Instagram and slammed Virat and Anushka for posting the video "for the sake of publicity".

The video, which gathered millions of views, received mixed reactions on the internet with some accusing Anushka of being "rude", "impolite" and "arrogant" and others supporting her.

While some people applauded the actor for giving a "piece of mind to these idiots", many, however, stated the couple's main motive was to just put the video out on social media.
