First official screenshots for Cyberpunk 2077 released

After many years of silence, CD Projekt Red recently unveiled their much-anticipated sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077, at the very end of Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference. We got a chance to see Night City in the trailer, but it's described as a unsafe metropolis in a future where corporations rule everything.

Choice and outcome is huge in this game.

In 2077, America is in pieces. Each thing you do affects something, be it yourself or the world around you. Among those were Eurogamer, which wasted no time reporting on Cyberpunk 2077.

As V, you'll be immersed in "a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers", and your journey will involve you becoming an urban legend within Night City and beyond.

Create a hero able to survive in America's most risky megacity. If you want to keep abreast pf any developments, head to the game's official website. With that being said, what do you make of the developer's approach?

Fluid Class System - Become a Netrunner, Techie or Solo... or a mix of all three.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a full day/night cycle.

The company, however, rejects claims that it is developing a first-person shooter.

Interactive Dialogue Control - You're a participant, an agent, not an observer. The choice is always yours.

Finally, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a unique dialogue system.

This is a dark game intended for a mature audience and as it turns out, Night City is a pretty grim place to live. If players aren't happy with their starting apartment, it sounds like they'll be able to use their "blood money" to invest in additional properties. As is the cyberpunk way, the city is run by corporations and crime. As you explore the Net, you'll discover layers of hidden systems, firewalls and security programs deployed to fry your brain.

You can also enter buildings, even mega buildings with multiple floors. Gameplay impressions published last night offered some more information about how combat will work in CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG. We still don't know much about what kind of game Cyberpunk will be, we know it will be a single-player RPG driven by choice and in-depth character customization.
