Hazard and Lukaku at the double as five-star Belgium thrash Tunisia

Tunisia fans ahead of their side's second World Cup match against Belgium

There were no 0-0 draws in the 1954 tournament, which included 16 teams and a total of 26 games.

Belgium took the lead inside six minutes, Eden Hazard converting a penalty after he had been brought down by Syam Ben Youssef.

Lukaku clipped a right-foot shot over advancing goalkeeper Farouk Ben Mustapha to match Cristiano Ronaldo with four goals as the tournament's top scorers.

Lukaku, who also had a brace against Panama on Monday, has scored 17 goals in his last 11 worldwide games, Hazard scored his first two World Cup goals with a penalty in the opening minutes and Michy Batshuayi capped off the scoring late.

"The first game at any tournament is always a little tough and the heat also exhausted us out but after rest we'll be ready to roll again", Chelsea playmaker Hazard said in the build-up to the weekend's clash.

Tunisia hit back two minutes later with a Dylan Bronn header as Belgium's own sometimes shaky defending was exposed but another misplaced Tunisian pass enabled Thomas Meunier to feed his goal-hungry striker as Lukaku clipped in to make it 3-1 in stoppage time.

Belgium and England clash next Thursday in their final Group G match in Kaliningrad in a contest likely to decide the pool victor.

That gives Tunisia some reprieve as it must avoid defeat to retain any hope of qualifying for the knockout stages. England (three points) face Panama (none) on Sunday in the same group.

Don't miss a moment of the World Cup!

Belgium have a frightening attack with Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Dries Mertens also expected to start again, and they should cause the north African side all sorts of problems. Meanwhile, Tunisia has made one change Khaoui replaces Sliti in the playing eleven.
