Meghan Markle joins the Queen for joint royal outing

Meghan Markle

The queen has reigned for years!

On social media, there was plenty of discussion as to whether the Duchess was sending a very pointed message to her critics with the design of her dress.

As they disembarked the train, Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs MBE welcomed Meghan, saying: "Welcome to Cheshire".

The newly named Duchess of Sussex and her grandmother-in-law made their grand entrance arriving in the northwest of England for a series of events.

The Queen then stepped back and allowed Meghan into the vehicle, as she followed closely behind.

It's also possible the bracelet is a tribute to the late Princess Diana, who not only was known to love Cartier jewellery, but even owned a very similar bracelet by the iconic designer.

Since entering the royal family last month, Meghan Markle has found herself making headlines every week for a variety of different reasons.

The venue describes itself as "a library, theatre and cinema" and attracted one million customers in its first year.

Both royals, heads slightly bowed, observed a national silence in honour of the victims of the fire.

As they left they were handed posies by Lilya Fagan seven, from Newton Primary School and Aneiran Egan-Simon, six, from Oldfield Primary.

Crowds gathered in the small English town where they showered the royals with cheers.

We hope the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a splendid time in Africa.

While Harry's brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, embarked on a 10-day honeymoon to the Seychelles following their 2011 wedding, Meghan and her prince reportedly took two full weeks for their romantic and adventurous trip to Africa. They looked like naughty teenagers giggling together at one point.

Meghan responded: "I will do. Then I asked her was she enjoying married life and she said "Harry is the best husband ever", she was so sweet".
