Michael Cohen meets with Tom Arnold, fuels Trump tape speculation

The Arnold photo and retweet set off a round of speculation about what it means for Cohen, who over the past week appeared to send signals that he is breaking his allegiance to Trump - he criticized the administration's immigration policy - and is considering cooperating with federal investigators potentially providing them information about Trump, friends and sources tell CNN.

Last month, Vice announced that the Cradle 2 the Grave supporting actor would host his own show, The Hunt For The Trump Tapes, in which Arnold will try to uncover rumored footage of Trump ranging from offensive The Apprentice outtakes to the alleged "pee tape".

Arnold tweeted on Friday to clarify that it was him who said he was teaming with Cohen to "take down" Trump and that Cohen was not being paid by Vice.

"I'm spending the weekend hanging out with Michael Cohen, and there's a lot going on", Arnold said. "We're taking Trump down together, ' and he's so exhausted he's like, 'OK, ' and his wife is like, 'OK, fuck Trump'".

Arnold also noted that Cohen has been feeling worn down by NY prosecutors, as they investigate him for possible bank fraud and campaign finance violations. The caption of the photo reads, "I love NY".

Arnold, who was once a contestant on Trump's show, "Celebrity Apprentice", claimed that aside from whatever dirt Cohen has, he has access to other recordings in which Trump allegedly uses the N-Word and other foul language toward his children. "It's on! I hope he [Trump] sees the picture of me and Michael Cohen and it haunts his dreams".

"We've been on the other side of the table and now we're on the same side", Arnold said. A Vice producer said Cohen had not done an on-camera interview and they are "still working it'".

His tweet came amid a collective media uproar over the family separations, which President Donald Trump tried to end with an executive order earlier this week.

Tom Arnold is on the hunt. The show revolves around him searching for incriminating videos of the president. The post was retweeted by Cohen.

Last week, Trump said he hadn't spoken with Cohen "in a long time" and said, "He's not my lawyer anymore, but I always liked Michael". A publicist for Arnold referred an inquiry from The Associated Press to a Vice Media spokesman, who didn't immediately comment.

Cohen is now under investigation in NY for a number of alleged financial crimes.

Cohen is also under investigation for a $130,000 hush-money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had an affair with Trump, NBC noted.
