A primer to save on Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day 2018 sale to start from July 16, here are deals on OnePlus 6, Vivo V9 and others

EBay is offering more than 100 deals priced at $119-the same price of an annual membership for Amazon Prime-and touting the fact that its products don't require a membership. Starting at July 16 noon, the sale will run through till midnight on July 17. Still, more new members signed up for the premium service on Prime Day than any other day in the company's history, according to Amazon. Last year, the company said its Prime Day was its single-largest sales day of the year, exceeding 2016's Black Friday and Cyber Monday and growing 60 percent year-over-year. With an increased number of Prime members this year, the sale is expected to be even bigger and better than last year. The company has a total of 340,000 sellers across the country. But if you're not a subscriber, don't worry, you can still take advantage of Prime Day prices by signing up for a temporary membership for free! After that, should you decide not to cancel, then Prime Student will cost you just £3.99 a month.

What to expect from Prime Day 2018?

While available at Rs 34,999 for 6GB and 64GB variant in India, the One Plus 6 will be available in the Amazon Prime Day 2018 sale at Rs 9,633 with the exchange, the Indian Express reported.

Some of the other special offers for Prime members include four months off Prime Music for 99pm from Amazon Music Unlimited (AMU) - a deal that expires on Tuesday, July 31. That means some of the very best deals can be gone long before people who aren't Prime members get to know about them. Amazon India has announced that the Prime Day will begin at 12 noon on 16 July 2018. It enable you to see exactly what prices are being charged for specific things - not just big purchases, but smaller items such as video games too. In reality, it's more like Prime week, as many "deals of the day" have already been trickling out, specifically electronics like Wi-Fi Light Switches and Bluetooth speakers.
