Federation Internationale de Football Association releases Russia World Cup doping tests

FIFA's diversity boss, Federico Addiechi, has warned broadcasters to stop zooming their cameras on "hot women" during football matches.

We've done it with individual broadcasters. "We've done it with our host broadcast services".

Its executive director Piara Powar insists sexism has been one of the biggest problems at the ongoing World Cup, according to the Irish Examiner.

Sexism has apparently been an issue in Russian Federation at the World Cup, and it looks like FIFA is starting to do what it can to counteract it.

While the crackdown isn't steeped in policy yet - Mr Addiechi said it is "one of the activities that we will have in the future, it's a normal evolution".

"[FIFA will] take action against things that are wrong". Monitors identified sexist incidents which included fans harassing female broadcasters.

Argentinian referee Nestor Pitana, along with his assistants Hernan Maidana and Juan Pablo Belatti, will officiate the Final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ between France and Croatia on Sunday at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

It would probably be OK under Federation Internationale de Football Association guidelines for the cameras to pick out this England fan. In what can be called as objectification, young and attractive women have often found screen time, evoking responses from the broadcasters as well as fans.

For women fans who don't look this way, or choose not to, the cost is media invisibility.

With World Cup costs for travel and tickets - $105 for the cheapest seats at group games for visitors - always rising, the different audience for games helps explain changing patterns of behavior.

The criteria for being a male sport fan in the online domain appear to have little to do with physical attractiveness.

After Horacio Elizondo in 2006, he becomes the second Argentinian referee to officiate a World Cup Final.
