Xiaomi Mi Max 3: the Battery King cometh

Powering the device is a more powerful Snapdragon 636 processor that's mated with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has eMMC 5.1 storage of up to 128GB. The rear will house a dual camera setup, with 12MP and 5MP sensors, while the front-facing camera will be 8MP. The device comes in Meteorite Black, Dream Gold and Dark Blue colour options. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.

It has been over a year since Xiaomi introduced the Mi Max 2, which features a sizable 6.44-inch screen to win over folks who like smartphones with big displays.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 that measures 176.2 x 87.4 x 8mm is slightly bigger and thinner than the Mi Max 2 with dimensions 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6mm.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a huge display of 6.9 inches that offers an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. For now, the Mi Max 3 is limited to China, but given that the series has seen a decent amount of success in India, Xiaomi will be looking to bring the device to the country shortly.

Connectivity options on the Mi Max 3 include 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support, GPOS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, a type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For selfies, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
