All New Overwatch Skins Available in the Summer Games 2018

The Legendary Reinhardt skin will release this week

While more skins may be announced or saved as a surprise, Blizzard has so far revealed five new legendary skins that will be coming to Overwatch during the Summer Games 2018 event.

The event's unique brawl, Lúcioball, is back for the duration of the Summer Games, with a new arena and a ranked competitive playlist.

When do the Overwatch Summer Games 2018 begin?

Summer is a time for going outdoors, soaking in the sun, and playing rounds of Lucioball till the early hours of the morning in desperate bids for more loot boxes.

The Summer Games was the very first event after the release of Overwatch in May 2016, originally celebrating the 2016 Summer Olympics.

What else is happening in the Overwatch Summer Games 2018?

The Summer Games update is set to launch tomorrow, August 9, around 6pm BST (1pm ET).

On top of this, all the old Summer Games skins and items from previous events will be re-unlocked, and can be found in Loot Boxes or bought, at a reduced rate, from the store using Overwatch's in-game Credits or real world money. It seems that every hero will be getting a skin of their own, so you'll probably need to play a lot and get lucky if you hope to unlock all of them.

However, Overwatch players will be guaranteed at least Summer Games Event item in the Summer Games Promo lootbox.

Anyone who wants to get any of the past Summer Games skins or the current ones will want to act fast.
