Back to the Future Cast Reunite at Convention

Christopher Lloyd

The quartet chatted all things Back To The Future at the expo, even addressing the bonkers idea that there should be a fourth sequel to the franchise.

The cast chatted about the famous movie in a panel discussion and also addressed any rumours of a fourth installment with Thomas Wilson telling the crowd: "Basically, I think America is saying, 'Come on they've wrecked every other franchise with bad sequels, why not this one?' C'mon, we would watch it until it sucks".

The cast of Back to the Future has hopped back in the DeLorean and hit 88mph in a glorious reunion photo.

Fans went wild at Fan Expo in Boston on Friday when "Back to the Future" stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas Wilson and Lea Thompson reunited in celebration of the film's 33rd anniversary.

Doc Brown aka Christopher Lloyd has managed to reunite the stars of the 80s time-travel classic for a photo at the fan convention they were attending.

Lloyd wrote, "This was special", while Thompson and Wilson expressed similar sentiments with "Four old friends get back from the future" and "Wow".

We'll nearly certainly never see a Back to the Future IV (nor would I want one) but it's fun to see this group back together at least for a moment.

Fox added he actually hated the now-instantly recognizable getup.

Gale and director Robert Zemeckis have previously said another film is unlikely.

When the movie was shot in the 1980s, Fox had been simultaneously starring in U.S. sitcom Family Ties, and working around the clock to fit both into his schedule. "This just happened", he posted.

"When the movie came out, it shocked me 'cause I had no idea what it was going to be", marvelled Fox, "because I had no chance to live with it".
