Bud Light "Victory Fridges" To Unlock In Cleveland When Browns Finally Win

Cleveland Browns players won't be the only ones jumping for joy when they get their first win since 2016

They just want to win a game. Don't Browns fans deserve *something* for enduring one win over two seasons? Sure. Do they seem like an over-celebration for accomplishing a feat that most teams do at least twice a season?

When the Browns win their first regular season game, ESPN reports that the WiFi-connected locks will open and fans will get to celebrate with free beer. The season before that, the Browns only notched a single win. "We're proud to show our support for Cleveland, and we're always looking to bring National Football League fans and friends together for memorable experiences". We love you for it, and so does @budlight.

Once the fridges unlock, free beer will available to fans at each establishment.

"The Bud Light Twitter account appears to be very optimistic about the team pulling out a victory, saying, "@Browns fans, these fridges will open this year. "We know it. You know it. #LetsGo Brownies".

Victory fridges! According to Cleveland.com, ten full-sized refrigerators, each filled with 200 aluminum bottles of Bud Light, will be shipped to locations around Cleveland, including several at FirstEnergy Stadium. Because of OH law, Anheuser-Busch has not released where the victory fridges will be located, but there will be approximately 10 full-size fridges - standing eight feet tall and filled with 200 aluminum 16-ounce bottles - located in the "general Cleveland area".

There may be some hope on the horizon. They'll open up the 2018-19 season at home against AFC North division rival Pittsburgh Steelers on September 9.
