The FBI and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are searching for a pregnant woman and her two daughters, ages three and four, who were declared "endangered and missing" on Tuesday.

Watts looked into the camera and said "Shanann, Bella, Celeste ... if you're out there, just come back". A longtime friend says Shanann is from Southern Pines and online records show Chris lived in Spring Lake at one time. Chris has relatives in Aberdeen and Fayetteville.

A majority of the police department is working to find Watts and her daughters, Bella and Celeste "Cece".

During a news conference Wednesday, Frederick police Sgt. Ian Albert said an update would be provided around 6 p.m.

Chris Watts, Shannan's husband, said he last saw his wife at 5.15am before he left for work. His confession came a day after authorities launched an investigation into their mysterious disappearance, reports said. Watts is 15 weeks pregnant, police said.

Investigators could be seen taking bags of evidence from the home. A truck was also taken.

Chris Watts, 33, was taken into custody on Wednesday in the town of Frederick.

One of her friends posted on Facebook that Shanann left her phone, purse, vehicle seats and children's medicine at home Monday morning, CBS Denver reported.

Christopher Watts said in an interview Tuesday that he didn't know where his wife and daughters were.

"I just knew that she wanted to sell the house quickly, and from my understanding she was moving out west to Colorado", he said. "Like, this house is not the same. Last night was - I can't really stay in this house again with nobody here". "That's when I was just like alright something's not right if she's not answering the door, the vehicle was here - I gotta go home", said Watts.

Investigators have located a body they believe is Shanann Watts, said Colorado Bureau of Investigation director John Camper.

Police quickly launched an investigation and asked for help from the public after a close friend of Shannan said she was not answering her phone. A bail hearing or Chris Watts is pending.

A woman whose body was found after her husband was arrested in the disappearance of her and their two young daughters had just visited her hometown in North Carolina and a neighbor said she seemed happy.
