Fix PUBG Campaign Launches - 'We'll Deliver on Our Promises' - PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Will it do as it says

A hotfix for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is out now on the Xbox One that improves loading times and fine-tunes the new analog movement feature.

"On the landing page, the team admit that "'Fix The Game' is a phrase that we've been hearing a lot lately".

The campaign, simply called "Fix PUBG", is meant to address long-standing complaints about the game's performance and player cheating, according to the developer PUBG Corporation. While the average frames per second has steadily risen since launch, it would intermittently drop to below 60 roughly every 10 seconds, causing an annoying stutter effect. A high tick rate is harder to keep up with, but makes player actions feel fast and accurate.

"We are targeting late Summer for Sanhok on Xbox One!" said a PUBG spokesperson.so that likely means we can see the game drop in August or September.

You'll be able to mute individual teammates while in-game. The battle royale has come to life with indie games like Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, the addition of battle royale game modes to long-running series like Call of Duty and Battlefield and, of course, Epic Games' quick pivoting of Fortnite from a modern take on Minecraft to having a battle royale mode that has become a pop culture sensation less than a year after it first debuted.

In an update to its developer post on Tuesday, PUBG Corp. put the ability to "place map markers without opening the map" under the "Removed from UI/UX" column without citing any reason.

Anti-cheat is also top of the list, with PUBG Corp cracking down on cheaters with legal action and a "combined anti-cheat solution".

PUBG Corp. describes its plans for matchmaking as "a complicated system to build and get right", and therefore offers no promises about what will change.

"We're dedicating the vast majority of our resources to addressing your issues with the game and implementing your suggested improvements", states the team, who intend to update the roadmap as they check things off.
