Grant Gustin’s Angry About Leaked Photos Of Flash’s New Costume

Actor Grant Gustin attends the

"We'll get there", Grant wrote in an Instagram post on August 8.

"Actor Grant Gustin attends 'The Flash" Q&A at Fan Expo Vancouver in the Vancouver Convention Centre on November 11, 2017 in Vancouver, Canada.

He finished on a more positive note, saying he absolutely loves the new suit and can not wait for The Flash fans to see it, and the new episodes.

Gustin is a naturally skinny man, and some chose to attack the actor for being too thin to properly play the role of Barry or "fill out" the suit. "That's a bad photo that I was unaware was being taken, much less posted".

Gustin makes a very good point here about people needing to wait to see the full thing before making their minds up about the new suit. Fans shared a range of reactions, from calling out the unnecessary nature of body shaming while others pointed out that the character isn't supposed to be the muscular giant that someone like Batman or Superman would be. "That's what pisses me off", Gustin said. "I've had my own journey of accepting it", Gustin wrote.

He wrote: "I've had 20+ years of kids and adults telling me or my parents I was too thin". But there is a double standard where it is ok to talk sh*t about a dude's body.

The actor added that despite what people say about his physique, he is "happy with my body and who I am", and he hopes that children who share similar body types "feel like THEY could be a superhero on TV or film or whatever it may be someday". I do my best to stay in shape and add as mich sizes as I can through out the seasons. He said, "I'm naturally thin, and my appetite is greatly affected by stress". But, here I am 5 seasons later. Just ask The CW's Grant Gustin. What's more, he loves being able to be a superhero so that other kids with bodies like his can see a representation of their body type onscreen and feel like they, too, can be a superhero.

The Jurassic World actor, who would share his snack of the day on social media, took on shamers by calling them out in a amusing message.
