James Harden linked to investigation into alleged nightclub incident

According to TMZ, a woman at Mint nightclub alleges someone in Harden's group got into a fight outside the club and she began filming it on her phone.

According to NBA.com, Harden was drafted by Oklahoma City with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft, and is now a guard for the Houston Rockets.

She says at some point Harden noticed she was videotaping the action and demanded that she delete what was recorded.

The Scottsdale Police Department said Monday that it was investigating an incident that allegedly involved Houston Rockets guard and Arizona State University alum James Harden. She said Harden asked her to stop recording and seemed to know "her endgame was to sell the vid to TMZ". The woman was recording the scuffle when Harden walked up, grabbed her wrist and phone before throwing her phone onto a roof.

The woman told TMZ she was given money by Harden and another member of his crew.

Security reportedly broke up the fight. Harden took her phone and tried to destroy the evidence.

TMZ says the woman later went to the hospital where she was treated for a wrist injury.

A rep for the Scottsdale PD tells TMZ Sports a report was taken and the investigation is ongoing. TMZ spoke with Scottsdale police who said Harden was named in the report but has not been named as a suspect, while Harden's camp has not responded to the allegations.
