Korn singer Jonathan Davis’ wife Deven dies at 39

They had 2 kids together. While we await an update about the exact nature of her passing, here's everything you need to know about her and her tragic death.

Deven's death happened on the same day Davis' motion for a domestic violence restraining order was approved by a judge.

Jonathan filed for divorce in October 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. The order blocked his estranged wife's visitation rights with their sons and said she could not be in contact with their dog, Chaos. According to documents, Deven was living in a sober home, but went missing last Friday and had not been seen for a week.

On top of that, Jonathan has claimed that recently, when he took his children to visit her, he found her drug dealer boyfriend passed out on a couch, her passed out on a bed, and drugs and drug paraphernalia floating inside a toilet bowl.

According to the Huffington Post, she and Jonathan moved to Malibu in 2006, where she became a partner at a boutique.

Deven and Jonathan began working on the font and art work of their line, and a cherub was born.

The first printing of their shirts sold out in under 30 minutes at a festival that Korn was performing at.

According to Jonathan, Deven had battled drug addiction for 20 years. He alleged her drug use was causing emotional harm to the kids through neglect. Time will what happened in between that disappearance and her death. Separately, Jonathan accused Deven of regularly bringing home other "unsavory" characters, including random Korn fans who went as far as trying on his clothes in the master bedroom. The couple had two children together, 13-year-old Pirate Howsmon Davis, and 11-year-old Zeppelin Howsmon Davis.
