‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’ Swings Into View With New Launch Trailer

Spider Man Trailer

The fact it is a Spider-Man game from Insomniac is the other reason.

There's a pivotal moment in the latest Spider-Man PS4 video game trailer when the current Spider-Man meets the kid who might replace him one day. With the game's release on the horizon, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games have today released a launch trailer to get everyone even more excited than they already were.

"You're Spider-Man!" he says.

Set to Campfire's adrenaline-pumping track "Superhuman", the trailer finds Peter Parker in costume meeting up with Miles Morales, intercut with Spidey riding atop a auto on the freeway and zipping through the air.

Still, overall, it's a pretty solid mashup of concepts - and definitely one of the rare times that fans will enjoy seeing The Amazing Spider-Man get trotted out again.

The new Spider-Man trailer, set to the tune of Campfire's 2017 song "Superhuman", intercuts between Peter Parker in costume meeting Miles Morales, and the web-slinger performing a variety of stunts including catching a auto and catching an enemy - in this case, Wilson Fisk - in mid-air before handing him over to the police.

Funnily, for a "gameplay" trailer, it also shows quite a lot of cinematics, but I'm digressing. After eight years behind the mask, Peter Parker is a crime-fighting master.

In the comics, Miles Morales is bitten by a similar radioactive spider and granted his own comparable powers, even taking on the mantle of Spider-Man. A rookie no longer, this is the most masterful Spider-Man you've ever played.
