More evidence that we’re getting new Apple Watches next month

The model numbers were discovered by French Apple site Consomac, the source of similar reports in the past, which looked at recent Apple documentation filed with the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Much like the FCC in the United States, the ECC is the place where new devices being sold in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russian Federation stop by ahead of release.

Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 3 past year at its September event.

Series 3 Apple Watches have eight model numbers which include two aluminum Global Positioning System only models and six aluminum, stainless steel and ceramic LTE models in two sizes. That's because the model numbers for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 family have been found in an official regulatory filing.

Apple will reportedly maintain the two watch sizes, 38mm and 42mm, but will increase the screen size by about 15% - with diagonals of 1.57” and 1.78” (up from 1.5” and 1.65”), respectively.

So what can we expect from the Apple Watch Series 4? It will bring walkie-talkie mode, a Siri watchface and notifications, podcasts, new exercise modes and more. We also see some images of what we might see soon thanks to Ben Geskin's Twitter account. But then maybe it's a bit too early to see that being added into the fitness tracking mix.

What's surprising about Apple's filings is that we're only looking at six model numbers instead of the expected eight.
