The cost to 1000 dollars: the Fall will introduce a new iPhone

Apple will need to improve its cost structure to cope with the threats brought by Android brands.

Apple's flagship iPhone X turned out to be the most expensive iPhone, last year. Perhaps most surprising is TrendForce's claim that Apple Pencil support will be offered in this year's iPhones, but it's unclear if that's the expectation for all of three them or if support will be limited to only one or two. Well, at least one country looks like it will miss on the new iPhones. "With the production volume estimated by TrendForce at around 83~88 million units, the new iPhones to be released may take a larger share of the company's annual sales volume compared with the three models past year".

Previous rumors have hinted that of Apple's three new iPhones, the 6.1-inch will have an LCD panel, while the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch versions will come with OLED panels.

Now, when you toss in the Apple Pencil support, it's possible that Apple would be able to better compete with mid-price Android players as well as premium Samsung devices. With that said, Apple is also expected to offer a 512GB option. That's according to a new report from TrendForce, which suggests that Apple's next-gen OLED iPhones will boast support for the company's high-end stylus.

However, TrendForce goes a little more in depth with its report, as it also spends a fair amount of time talking about specifications and pricing.

Given that the new product will use the larger 6.1-inch LCD display than the iPhone 8, the price also increased slightly and will be in the range of 700-750 dollars. The OLED models, on the other hand, are expected to start from the $899-949 range.

Adding the feature to the iPhone X Plus could take some of the wind out of the Galaxy Note 9's sails. It is also expected that this model will get a version with support for two SIM-cards. The iPhone 9 is with 6.1-inch display along with a single rear camera at the back.

As for the two premium AMOLED versions, they would both feature a memory content of 4GB. Apple is seemingly taking a page from the Note 9 with a 512GB storage option as well as 64GB and 256GB models.
