This could be Palm's first-ever Android phone

Palm Android phone leaked wtf

Credit: Android PoliceThe folks over at Android Police have gotten their hands on a couple of images and details on an upcoming Palm device codenamed Pepito.

According to Android Police's inside source, the device will incorporate a 3.3-inch LCD with 720p resolution and will be powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Though we are sure that the 3.3-inch display along with the processor is going to draw much less power but even after that, it is hard to see this device lasting for more than half a day or so.

Like we previously heard, the Palm Pepito is expected to launch on Verizon when it comes to the USA, and at this time, there's still no word if it'll be available on other carriers or unlocked in any form. To say this new Palm phone is a little odd considering its 2018 is an understatement. Considering that the device comes in such a small size, the report added that it will pack an 800mAh battery, which may very well be insufficient in the year 2018.

For the operating system, the device will run on Android 8.1. The phone won't have a headphone jack, and will come in a Gold colour option as well as the black we see here.

Based on these specs, it sounds like the phone is a low-end smartphone at best, and like we said we're not sure who might want to buy it given that there are plenty of alternatives that could offer up better specs.
