Trump calls fired Omarosa a ‘dog’ in new furious tweet

Donald Trump has hit out at ex-Apprentice contestant and former political aide Omarose Manigault-Newman a "dog" in a scathing Twitter attack on Tuesday afternoon.

Katrina Pierson joins Ed Henry on tonight at 11:00 p.m. ET to discuss the latest in the feud between President Trump and Omarosa Manigault-Newman. The aides had previously denied that any such conversations had taken place.

In a morning tweet, Trump praised his chief of staff, John F. Kelly, for firing Manigault Newman past year.

Asked about Trump's tweets about Manigault Newman and calling her a "dog", Sanders said the president was "voicing his frustration with the fact that this person has shown a complete lack of integrity, particularly by the actions following her time here at the White House".

Mr Trump has also pushed back against Ms Manigault Newman's claim that she had heard an audiotape of him using the N-word.

"She claims to have heard from someone who heard from me that I heard Trump use the N-word", he said in an August 10 tweet.

When asked to clarify on NBC's "Meet the Press", Manigault Newman said she listened to the recording after finishing the book during a trip to Los Angeles.

Ms Manigault-Newman has since made claims that other tapes exist, and that she will slowly make the recordings available to the press.

McClain admitted he met with Manigault-Newman at the White House in December; however, he laughed at the notion that he played the tape for her, according to HuffPost: "You've got to be bullsh--ng me". But it's the one we get: the one to take hold of a weekend news cycle, to force a reexamination of the president's racist and dishonest tendencies, to have the nation on the edge of their seat as they ponder, What does she know?

In the recording with Kelly, which Manigault Newman quotes extensively in her new book, Kelly can be heard saying that he wants to talk with her about leaving the White House. Whether Manigault Newman is a savvy con artist developing her next act in entertainment or a lost soul helplessly seeking retribution is irrelevant.

"You know they run a big operation, but I didn't know it", he says, adding: "I didn't know that".

In her new book, Unhinged, Omarosa explained: "It's my opinion that Melania was forced to go to the border that day in June, essentially, to mop up her husband's mess". We have already heard her being sacked by White House chief of staff John Kelly in the Situation Room and a phone call allegedly with the president himself.

"Well, that's not true", Manigault Newman then says on the tape. Trump's NDAs attempt to keep staffers silent about Trump and their time in the White House even after they leave those positions.

"I'm certainly, I think like most people that worked with her, very disappointed that she would go to such a self serving, somebody who blatantly cares about more about herself than our country", Sanders said.
