Walmart cashier paints disabled woman's nails when salon refuses

After one of her regular customers, a woman with a disability that sometimes causes her hands to shake, was refused service at a nearby nail salon, Walmart cashier Ebony Harris chose to help.

Peters was at the store to have her nails done when the salon, according to Angela, said that her shaking, which is caused by her cerebral palsy, would make painting them too hard.

A MI woman was recently denied a manicure at a Walmart nail salon. After seeing this, Walmart employee Ebony Harris chose to skip her break and help make Peters feel special.

"I just wanted to make her day special".

Peters, 36, has cerebral palsy, which can make her hands shake.

Ebony says she watched the nail salon, located just a few feet over, refuse to do Angela's nails, and chose to do something about it. "I forgive the nail people for not doing my nails", Peters adds, per ABC News. The photos show Peters sitting at a small table for two as Harris paints her nails blue. I didn't really want her day to be ruined. She's just like you, me ... my daughter, anybody.

They bought nail polish and headed to the nearby Subway where Harris painted Peters' nails. And, I told her don't say that.

"I was a little nervous and was shaking because I didn't want to mess her nails up", Harris told ABC News.

Painting someone's nails surely qualifies as work.

The Walmart employees are hoping the random act of kindness will spread a positive message.

Harris said she appreciates all the attention the story has been receiving. "I've helped her shop a couple of times". "It makes me feel good, but it's very overwhelming". "When people do us wrong, we must forgive", she explained.

"I just wanted to post it for awareness and appreciation, because people needed to know what was going on with the business and Ebony deserved all the appreciation she could get", Tasia said. She wants the focus to be "not so much being mad at the nail salon". "We're not trying to make them lose customers, make them look bad", Harris said.

The three plan to continue their friendship, already scheduling a dinner at Peters' favorite restaurant in town.
