Comparing Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's First Solo Royal Outings

Harry and Eugenie lead

The 37-year-old, who attended the opening of the "Oceania" exhibit at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, proved she wants to do things her own way by closing her own auto door at the event.

While such a change may seem innocent enough, fans were quick to point out that Markle's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, has debuted a new hairstyle just before each of her three pregnancies were announced.

The royal finished her look with a matching bejeweled Givenchy clutch ($1,990), black bow-topped Aquazzura pumps ($750) and Birks Snowflake Snowstorm diamond earrings ($12,000).

The duchess, who has made effortless waves and messy buns her signature look, rocked sleek, straightened tresses, which showed off her gorgeous hair's length and layers.

Despite the atheletic nature of the event, the 34-year-old prince and 37-year-old former actress arrived in chic attire. She also brought along Prince Harry and her mother, Doria Ragland.

All these rumours were put to rest when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot on May 19. Place-making will explore the settlement of communities and Encounter will focus on trade and exchange in Pacific cultures.

During the visit, The Duchess will receive a tour of "Oceania", spending time viewing exhibits from different regions including New Zealand, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and Australia, which she and The Duke of Sussex will visit in October.

Meghan was due to meet the exhibition's curators, artists and descendants linked to the works on display.

The exhibition will officially open to the public on Saturday and will run until December 10.
