Lois Lane Cast for DC TV Arrowverse Crossover

Elizabeth Tulloch to Play Lois Lane in CW’s ‘Arrow’-verse Crossover

"On the film side, her credits include "Concussion" with Will Smith and Alec Baldwin, "Parkland" opposite Paul Giamatti and Billy Bob Thornton, and the Academy Award-winning silent film, 'The Artist".

Elizabeth Tulloch, who was revealed as the Arrowverse's Lois Lane Friday, has commented on her casting with a tribute to the famed comic book reporter and late Superman star Margot Kidder.

"When I started acting, one of my teachers asked me to watch the screen tests for the role of Lois Lane for 1978's Superman".

The upcoming crossover on The CW announced plans to include Lois Lane in the crossover back in August. "Now, at a time when the noble profession of journalism feels under siege, it's a privilege to join the club of actresses who have played the dogged reporter", she wrote. "This dogged, determined and fearless reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and wonderful addition to our universe of DC characters". Actor Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman from CW's Supergirl. They'll star alongside the usual lead casts of Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl, though the crossover will also introduce Batwoman, played by Arrowverse newcomer Ruby Rose.

During an appearance at a New Jersey convention, Hoechlin said he was excited about Lois Lane appearing on Supergirl, but did not have much information to share.

This year's Arrowverse crossover looks sure to be one of the most exciting in The CW's superhero universe so far. Teri Hatcher, who appeared in Supergirl's second season, played Lois on Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

How she fits into the storyline remains to be seen, however, because prep for the Dec 9-11 crossover is still in the early stages.
