President Trump speaks at the UN

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday (Sep 25) accused his United States counterpart Donald Trump of trying to topple his government as he poured cold water on the idea of resuming talks with Washington after its pullout from an global nuclear accord.

Fox's Twitter account on Tuesday posted an 11-second clip of the president in which he says, "In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than nearly any administration in the history of our country".

"America's so true.didn't expect that reaction but it's ok". "We have pulled out of the Iran deal" that eased sanctions on Tehran in exchange for curbs on its nuclear program, Haley said.

Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian says the U.N. General Assembly this week will test whether people like Trump are "playing together or playing lone horseman, whether they are seeking solutions or sticking to slogans".

In 2015, Zimbabwe's then 91-year-old strongman Robert Mugabe was met with laughter when he shouted "We are not gays!", part of his longstanding insistence that homosexuality is non-African.

He then launched into a campaign-style speech extolling the economy, military buildup and U.S. sovereignty. "Everybody got a copy?" he asked reporters Monday, before outlining his vision that "infringements on our sovereignty are.an infringement on the people themselves".

Fox News said Moon told the network in an interview to be broadcast on Tuesday evening that Trump could meet Kim before the end of the year.

"It was a different world", Trump said Monday of his one-time moniker for Kim Jong Un.

The speech showed that while Trump has accelerated the execution of world-rattling policies, his worldview remains consistent with the "America First" doctrine he first took to the world stage a year ago: proclaiming the world is best served if countries focus on their own self-interests and reject global governance mechanisms. Other items on the U.S. agenda include North Korea, humanitarian crises, the global challenge of drugs and worldwide efforts to defeat terrorist groups, including the Islamic State, and United Nations reform.

"I am sure he is an absolutely lovely man!", Trump tweeted, just hours before both leaders were set to speak at the UN General Assembly and four months after the United States president ditched the Iran nuclear deal.

Speaking a year after he threatened to "totally destroy North Korea" if it endangered the U.S. or its allies and dubbed the country's leader Kim Jong Un "Rocket Man", Trump will spotlight how radically circumstances have changed since then, touting his diplomatic efforts that were buttressed by global sanctions passed at the UN.

"The missiles and rockets are no longer flying in every direction".

And the European Union has emphasized as "critically important" a trio of initiatives that the Trump administration abhors or has abandoned: the Paris Climate Agreement, the Iran nuclear deal and the Global Compacts for Refugees and Migrants, political declaration that is directed at improving the way in which the worldwide community responds to large movements of refugees and migrants, as well as to protracted refugee situations. "And I presented a vision to achieve a brighter future for all of humanity", Trump said.

"Iran has to change its tune before we meet with them".

The moment only reinforced Trump's isolation among allies and foes alike, as his nationalistic policies have created rifts with erstwhile partners and cast doubt in some circles about the reliability of American commitments around the world.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday warned the United States against pursuing hostile policies toward Tehran, saying preventing Iran from exporting oil would be "very dangerous", though he did not rule out talks between the two countries.

Moon recently met with Kim and brought a message from the North Korean leader for Trump. Both leaders are attending an annual United Nations gathering.

Trump still has a chance to raise (or lower) the bar, when he chairs a UN Security Council meeting on non-proliferation tomorrow, but there was enough for the delegates to discuss, the meeting breaking into chatter during a five-minute recess. "I am sure he is an absolutely lovely man", Trump wrote in a post on Twitter.

The four days of choreographed foreign affairs stand in contrast to wild twists and disorder in domestic politics, highlighted by the controversy over Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

"I believe the normalization of North Korea-Japan relations is required in the process of establishing peace on the Korean Peninsula, and I will actively support and cooperate so a North Korea-Japan summit will be held", Yonhap quoted Moon as telling Abe.
