Redskins coaches talk blueprint to slowing down Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers fears knee injury will get worse

After watching the replay, the Packers quarterback believes it should've been an easy no-call.

For the second straight week Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

"Yeah, obviously that's a concern", Rodgers said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

MCL sprains can be a pretty serious injury, and depending on the next few weeks it could grow into a truly lingering issue for Rodgers for a majority of the season. "What do you say to Clay?"

Now, before you call Rodgers a homer, the Packers quarterback said he also felt the same way about a roughing the passer penalty that was called on Minnesota's Eric Kendricks in the game.

Aaron Rodgers didn't look like he was too bothered by his iffy knee this past week against the Vikings. Same thing with Kendricks. "What do you say to him on that?", Rodgers said.

Even other teams were surprised Matthews was flagged. Rodgers did not practice last week until Saturday, when he took part in the hour-long session that coach Mike McCarthy typically holds the day before games.

Rodgers hasn't seemed that much worse for wear since suffering the injury, engineering a dramatic comeback win over the Bears in Week 1 and completing 71.4 percent of his passes for 281 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's tie against the Vikings. I think you've got to handle different types of formations and if you show your hand you've got to be sound in what you do. And some of the rules help, but some of the rules, maybe are going in the wrong direction. "It's interesting they released it as of [Monday] trying to get ahead of this whole situation".
