Ariana Grande named Billboard's 2018 Woman of the Year

Is Ariana Grande Rebooting the First Wives Club Reboot?

Ariana Grande returned to daytime television to perform her new single "thank u, next" for the first time on Wednesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

The tune, which namechecks several of her famous exes, including former fiance, Pete Davidson, the late Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Ricky Alvarez, is a touching tribute to the past men in her life and to the woman she's become as a result.

Grande appeared to have tears in her eyes elsewhere during the performance of what may well be her most personal song to date.

It seems Ariana Grande still has some tears left to cry. It was a fun dance and a good song, but the moment that will stick in everyone's head comes when Grande trips on one of her vertiginous heels and interrupts herself for a quick "Ohmygod!".

In addition to the trio's ensembles, the stage was outfitted as if for a wedding reception, with tables, chairs and full-on centerpieces all in white.

Then one month later, she called off her engagement to comedian Pete Davidson and even kicked him out of their lavish New York City home. But, clearly not anxious about having a very human, silly moment during a performance, since she carried on singing and couldn't stop from laughing as she sang. Holding hands with my mama. "We love you, we support you".

Watch the Ellen performance below. "She's gone", she lamented, before Grande came racing back.

"I thought we were supposed to exit!"

"I know some of you are curious about the breakup but the truth is it's nobody's business and sometimes things just don't work out and that's OK", he said during "Weekend Update".
