Dez Bryant reacts after reportedly suffering season-ending injury in Saints practice

Report Dez Bryant helped off the practice field with injury

Dez Bryant's comeback came to a screaming halt on Friday.

After being cut by the Cowboys in April, Bryant turned down multiple offers from other National Football League teams, before the Saints starting courting him earlier this week.

Dez Bryant suffered an injury during practice Friday afternoon according to NFL Network and NFL.com reporter Tom Pelissero. "I won't question the man upstairs. this is the ultimate test. thank you everyone for the prayers".

Bryant joined the Saints this week after a long stint as a free agent. But news broke earlier this week that Dez agreed to a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.

A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Bryant was the 24th pick in the 2010 draft, chalking up 7,459 receiving yards and 73 touchdowns in eight seasons, all with Dallas. And the Saints reportedly fear he could actually be done for the year with a torn Achilles.

Bryant was originally planning to make his Saints debut in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it's up in the air whether he will play at all this season.

Bryant was signed as the Saints placed receiver Cameron Meredith on injured reserve.
