Bodyguard the latest in exodus of Meghan staff

Meghan Markle's bodyguard quits after six months working for pregnant Duchess of Sussex

The 37-year-old pregnant Duchess of Sussex looked stunning on Monday, stepping out in a regal purple dress from Babaton by Aritizia and keeping warm with a cherry red peacoat by Sentaler.

The Duchess is visiting Birkenhead, England, with her husband, Prince Harry, for a day of events, and the couple were greeted by massive crowds in the British town.

According to Express.co.uk Bookmakers Paddy Power have suspended all betting on the gender of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby after an unprecedented number of bets came through on it being a girl. Over the weekend, Betfair suspended bets on the couple having a girl.

In a candid moment captured on camera, a bystander was heard shouting: "Congratulations, I hope it's a girl", to which Harry responded: 'So do I!'

Odds on the baby's name have also been placed.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are parents to Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, who was born in April.

The latest reports follow rumours that Meghan could give birth sooner than initially thought.

Touabti was said to have been tasked with dealing with "the Markle debacle" ahead of the royal wedding, in which Meghan's father Thomas Markle staged photos with the paparazzi and then backed out of the wedding just days before.

'This happens because the pressure inside the abdomen rises as the pregnancy progresses.

Meghan Markle had a very busy week, which included the announcement that she is receiving her first four royal patronages from Queen Elizabeth.

Her decision to quit follows the departure of the duchess's personal assistant, Melissa Touabti, who left the palace a year ago after six months in the job.
